Next Thursday (5 November 2009), National Theatre Wales will unveil the long-awaited details of their first programme of events. The company is set to launch one different show for each month of the year - plus an additional finale.
National Theatre Wales, a touring organisation without a fixed abode, plan to take theatre across Wales and the 12 shows over 12 months are likely to be based in different areas across the country, in an "attempt to theatrically map Wales".
The company, under the guidance of artistic director John McGrath, aims to bring together the best of Welsh writing, performing and directing with the assistance of world class artists.
National Theatre Wales will stream the entire announcement online with live video link-ups to various locations across Wales featuring some of the artists involved in the upcoming projects. The broadcast is likely to kick off at around 12.30pm, but we'll bring you further details if you miss it.
